Stuart 'Hoss' Munro

Further to previous emails and social media coverage following the very sad death of Stuart Munro, Gill and the family would like to thank everyone for all the kind words and wishes extended to them during this difficult time.

The funeral is this coming Tuesday (26th) at 4pm. It is a private family service with only 30 persons allowed to attend. However, the family is aware of people wanting to pay their last respects so details of the route of the cortège have been released.

Please note that Government advice suggests that if you live on the route then there is no problem making an appearance and those living close by could attend by making it part of their daily exercise. Driving to attend is not advisable as it would not be considered an essential journey.

The family do not want to jeopardise anyone’s health or cause any issues for our front line services so they ask that you respect these rules.

The cortege will be travelling along Lavernock Road (passing the entrance to the Old Penarthians RFC and Penarth Athletic Club) at about 3.30pm on Tuesday 26th January - continuing past the golf club through Sully and on to Barry.

Hoss did not want anyone to wear black so if you have Club colours or a  Wales rugby shirt please feel free to wear that.
