Youth Team Training Kit

Last weekend Old Penarthians Youth XV played in the Cardiff Region Premiership Play-off Semi-Final against local Cardiff rivals, St Albans Youth.  Before the match, warm-up training tops were presented to the team by sponsors Blues Electrical and Wilmore's 1938 and the team is pictured below proudly wearing the kit.

The match was watched by a large crowd of supporters who were thoroughly entertained by a hard fought contest between two equally matched teams.  Old Penarthians Youth, led by captain Joe Francis-Oaten, were the eventual winners by 30 points to 24 with tries from Steff Davies, Harvey Bryant, Gruff Pendleton-Jones, James Sibery and Luke Ingram. Sibery also added a conversion and penalty.

The final of the competition is to be played at a neutral venue on Saturday 21st December against Merthyr Youth XV and it is hoped that the training kit will again prove to be a winning part of the team's preparation.
