It is with great pleasure that we can report that the Old Penarthians RFC Clubhouse will reopen from Friday 7^th August 2020.

Please see below the revised Opening Days and times:-

Listed above is only a guide line and as time goes on restrictions may be added or lifted as required.
 
As you can all appreciate we are governed by the Welsh Assembly with regards to the reopening COVID 19 protocols etc so with effect from the 7^thAugust the following have been mandated upon us and will apply:-

• There will be strict 2m social distancing in place. You will notice that most of the tables and chairs have been removed to allow 2m distancing. This will limit the numbers of members that will be allowed in the club at any one time. The patio area will be open but again with restricted numbers.
• Sanitizers are provided throughout the Club
• Only fully paid up members will be admitted. Membership will be checked on arrival. 
• Welsh Assembly Track & Trace Details (ie Name, address, phone no & email addresses) must be provided on entry.
• Initially children will not be allowed in the club at any time as unfortunately they will count against the Welsh Assembly quota of persons allowed within the Club (but they can always play outside).
• Entry & Exit to & From the Club will be via a one way system. Entry to the club will be via the bar entrance and you will be directed by arrows on the floor through the bar and into the lounge and exit will be via the lounge door,
• The Toilets will be open and only one person will be allowed to use them at a time.
• The Servery Areas will be limited to one section in the bar and one section in the lounge. A queueing system will be in place and only one person will be served at a time.
• The Pool Table, Bandits and Juke Box are non-operational

 
Payment can only be accepted by card, contactless would be preferred, strictly no cash. The minimum charge on the card has been suspended to make it easier for the members.
 
As a far as the Changing Rooms, Gym & Squash Courts are concerned they remain closed until further notice.
