In these difficult times, Mel, as chairman of the social committee, and myself, as chairman of the rugby committee, felt that we should do our best to keep you appraised as to what is happening at Old Penarthians RFC. Clearly, like everybody else, the club is in a lockdown situation and not available to any of our members. We are however carrying out structural and interior checks to ensure that the clubhouse itself is being well looked after and maintained during this period and will hopefully be ready for use as soon as we are authorised to reopen by the government.

We are a members’ club at the centre of a strong and resilient community. To that end, we would very much welcome members thoughts on a range of areas:
We want to make sure that all our members and their guests are comfortable with the approach that we take and we want to be as transparent and proactive as we possibly can in providing a safe secure and enjoyable environment at Old Penarthians RFC.

Once lock-down is over, ''normal'' life will look very different. We guarantee that we will always follow Government health and safety guidelines to create as healthy and safe an environment as we can. We will also provide regular updates on our actions to give all of you the confidence to return to the club in the near future.
