Following on from yesterday's Welsh Governmental announcement we are pleased to report  the Club will reopen on Monday 9th November and that there are some additional opening hours as a result.

We will now be reopening on a Wednesday where previously the Club has been shut together with extra hours on a Friday and Sunday.

The Opening hours going forward will be:-

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - open at 5pm with last orders at 10pm to vacate premises by 10.20pm
• Friday- open at 4pm with last orders at 10pm to vacate premises by 10.20pm
• Saturday - open at 3pm with last orders at 10pm to vacate premises by 10.20pm
• Sunday - open at 11am with last orders at 6pm to vacate premises by 6.20pm

As per our previous emails we also remind Members that:-

• Face coverings must be worn when moving around the premises
• Children are welcome in the Club but in the Bar Area only and they must be accompanied by a responsible Adult at all times. Children must comply with the same Welsh Assembly Regulations as Adults in that they must remain seated.  
• The Club now has a QR code so if you have the NHS Covid 19 app you can sign in using this method.

Outlined below are a reminder of the protocols brought in by the Committees of Old Penarthians RFC as a result of the Welsh Assembly COVID Requirements that need to be adhered to when using the Club and it's facilities:-

• For the safety of the Club, it's members and staff, the club facilities should not be used by anyone exhibiting any form of COVID 19 symptoms and should not use the premises within 14 days of a positive test result.
• There is strict social distancing in place. You will notice that most of the tables and chairs have been removed to allow 2m distancing. This will limit the numbers of members that will be allowed in the club at any one time. The patio area will be open but again with restricted numbers.
• Hand sanitizers are provided for use throughout the Club
• Only fully paid up members will be admitted. Membership will be checked on arrival. 
• Welsh Assembly Track & Trace details (i.e. name, address, phone number and email address) must be provided on entry.
• Entry & exit to and from the Club will be via a one way system. Entry to the club will be via the lounge entrance and you will be directed by arrows on the floor through the lounge and into the bar and exit will be via the bar door,
• The toilets will be open and only one person will be allowed to use them at a time.
• The Servery areas will be limited to one section in the bar and one section in the lounge, and table service is in operation.
• The pool table, gaming machines and juke box are non-operational

We would also advise members that the premises are being cleaned and disinfected every day to conform with current guidelines.
 
Payment can only be accepted by card and contactless would be preferred - strictly no cash. The minimum charge on the card has been suspended for the convenience of members.

As a far as the changing rooms & gym are concerned they remain closed until further notice. The squash courts will also reopen with effect from Monday for fully paid up Squash Members only. However, competitive matches are NOT permitted. Training is permitted whilst adhering to 2m social distancing.
