Player records - a brief review since season 1999/2000

A BRIEF PLAYING RECORD REVIEW

 

A review of the playing records of the Old Penarthians 1st XV, maintained initially by Roy Churchill and subsequently by Tony Crimp, in the 20 years since the 1999/2000 season up to May 2022 show that:

408 players have represented the 1st XV

Of these, 189 players appeared 5 times or less and in this number were 100 players who only played once

In the period, 50 players have earned their colours ties for playing 50 matches. To see which players have won this honour see the following link, colours

20 players have played 100 games or more, and their names are shown here, matches played

2 players have played over 200 games: Simon Davies and Jon Crimp

And Tony Kemp and Lee Brennan have represented the team on more than 300 occasions.
