TICKET APPLICATION FOR WALES 2021 AUTUMN SERIES INTERNATIONAL MATCHES TO BE PLAYED AT THE PRINCIPALITY STADIUM
Please be advised that ticket applications for the Autumn Series of matches to be played at the Principality Stadium in 2021 can now be submitted to Tony Crimp.
In accordance with our constitution the application process means that the Club will only apply to the WRU for tickets that are ordered and paid for by members by the closing date specified by the Union.
It means that if you require tickets for the matches detailed below you must commit yourself to an order (with payment) before Friday 2nd July 2021.
The WRU has a growing confidence that the Autumn Nations Series 2021 will see the return of supporters to events; and they look forward to filling Principality Stadium once again. They have been working closely with Welsh Government and Public Health Wales since the onset of the pandemic and whilst their intention is to move forward with tickets sales based on 100% capacity, they are well aware that the circumstances around Covid-19 could again change. Therefore, provisions are in place so that supporters can purchase now with confidence knowing that a full refund of the face value amount will be issued if plans change.
The Wales matches to be played at the Principality Stadium in 2021 are:
v New Zealand Saturday 30th October
v South Africa Saturday 6th November
v Fiji Sunday 14th November
v Australia Saturday 20th November
The ticket prices for the games are as follows:
v New Zealand £95, £85, £75, £60, £40
v South Africa & Australia £75, £65, £45, £35, £25
v Fiji £35, £25, £20, £15, £10
The WRU have also announced that concessionary priced tickets for U17s can be purchased at 50% of the adult ticket price across all the price bands. U17s must be accompanied by an adult.
In addition to the above it is possible to apply for tickets in an Alcohol-Free Zone (AFZ). These tickets are located in the third-tier pricing category £75 for New Zealand, £45 for South Africa/Australia and £20 for Fiji. Your applications should specify this requirement if appropriate.
Orders for tickets should be made in writing to the Club Ticket Administrator, Tony Crimp, either at the clubhouse or to 14, Chantry Rise, Penarth, CF64 5RS or by email to crimp55@btinternet.com
The order should clearly state the match, the number of tickets and the preferred price of the tickets.
It is likely that there will be a large demand for the lower priced tickets and the Club only receives a limited number, so multiple applications for these tickets are unlikely to be met in full.
Please consider quoting an alternative priced ticket with your order if you wish to avoid disappointment.
Payment by BACS transfer is the Club’s preferred method of payment and if paying in this way the reference should clearly state your name. The Club’s bank account details for payment will be provided to you after receipt of your written application.
Cheques for the cost of the tickets should be made payable to ‘Old Penarthians RFC’. Cash payments will also be accepted but should be handed to Tony Crimp in person.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT AN ORDER PLACED BY 2nd JULY 2021 IS THE ONLY WAY TO GUARENTEE TICKETS FOR THE WALES AUTUMN SERIES OF MATCHES
