In accordance with the constitution of the Rugby Club I write to advise you that the Annual General Meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday 28th July 2016.   The meeting will receive the Secretary’s report of the past season and hear the Treasurer’s account of the Club’s financial position.  There will be an opportunity to discuss matters that are relevant to the Club and elect the officers and committeemen who will represent you in season 2016/17.

Nominations are therefore requested for the positions of Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and eight committeemen.

If you wish to nominate anyone to serve on the committee you need to forward paperwork to the Secretary, Tony Crimp, by Monday 18th July.  The paper should be signed by a proposer, seconder and the nominated person who acknowledges that he wishes to stand for the position.  All named persons must be members of the Rugby Club

Please act now, do not leave it to someone else

In addition, should you wish to raise any constitutional matters please be reminded that a period of notice of 21 days is required and therefore the appropriate documentation should be provided to the secretary as soon as possible
